ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Boscoe, the stolen pit bull puppy, is now back home with his family.

The 11 week old, blue eyed pit bull puppy, was returned to his owners, Curtis and April Herring, late Tuesday night.

As we reported earlier this week, Boscoe was stolen by thieves who burglarized the family duplex on Homewood Court early Sunday morning.

The Herrings received a call last night that a man on 11th Avenue found Boscoe at his home, and recognized him from our report.

Albany Police were there when the Herring's claimed their dog, and the man did not want the  $50 reward that was offered.

The Herrings are moving to Cairo.  They say they will have a microchip implanted in Boscoe to protect him.
