DAWSON, GA (WALB) -

Water services were restored Tuesday night in a neighborhood in Dawson after residents went without water all day Tuesday.

A fire hydrant was damaged at noon Monday on the corner of Sixth Avenue and Green Street.

Public Works came to fix the hydrant but they said they had to wait for the pressure to rise before customers could get water.

The water was restored around 10 P.M. Tuesday evening.
