Albany Museum's High Def Exhibit

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An interactive art exhibit goes on display at the Albany Museum of Art tomorrow......letting everyone use their own body to make high def displays on the museum walls.

It's called "recollections Five Point Oh."   Tuesday's artist Ed Tannenbaum of California finished installation at the Albany Museum of Art for Wednesday's opening.

Tannenbaum actually installed an earlier version of his art form at the Museum in 1999, but this version is more interactive with improved high definition displays.  Movements in front of the system translate into images of color, movement, and form.

"It's for kids and adults too," said Tannenbaum. "I really designed it for myself, and I wasn't a kid at the time.  So adults love it too.  They always say my kids would love this thing."

Tannenbaum's Five Point Oh art works are currently on display in 70 museums around the world...including the Albany Museum of Art starting tomorrow.  The museum is open from 10 to 5 Tuesday through Saturday.
