BOSTON, GA (WALB) -
Thomas County investigators are asking for your help to catch a Boston home invasion suspect.
21-year old Tony's Staten's four accomplices are already in jail accused of robbing five people on Hanna Street with a gun and a knife.
And investigators say they don't why, but these home invasion type robberies are on the rise.
Investigators say Gloria Dunbar, Joseph Sneed, Tommy Henry, Calvin Everett, and Bennie Amos met at Dunbar's Hanna Street home for coffee.
"Got a knock at the door. They opened the door. Guys forced their way in having a gun and a knife. Demanded money. Stole their phones, stole change banks and left the residence," said Lt. Tim Watkins.
Investigators say the four men and one woman separated the victims and ordered them to stay in different rooms.
"One of the victims was physically assaulted by being beaten while he was on the couch. We were able to develop a couple of leads which took us to Brooks County. We were able to get three people in custody that day," said Watkins.
25-year old Crystal Guyton, 22-year old Chris Dunbar, and 21-year old Marcus Wilson were arrested in Brooks County.
20-year old Sean Ghee was arrested Tuesday morning.
Lt. Tim Watkins says violent home invasions like this one are on the rise, across southwest Georgia. "Yes there have been an increase. We don't know why. But we have noticed, in all surrounding areas, there have been several large increase in these home invasion type robberies."
Guyton, Dunbar, Wilson, and Ghee are all charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, and kidnapping.
The 5th suspect, 21-year old Tony Staten, is still at large.
And investigators say like the other suspects, Staten is also from Brooks County.
