VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

A Valdosta woman is in jail tonight after police say she stabbed a man multiple times.

21-year-old Tiffany Webster is charged with aggravated battery after Valdosta Police officials say she and her friend, 31-year-old Jose Vades, got into an argument and still stabbed him multiple times with a kitchen knife.

The assault happened around 4:30 last night at an apartment complex on 900 W Gordon Street.

The victim is expected to be okay. He was treated for his injuries last night at South Georgia Medical Center.

"He told her to leave his apartment and during the course of the argument she went to the kitchen and reportedly got a knife and came back and stabbed him multiple times," said Lt. Aaron Kirk, VPD.

Officials say a neighbor heard the man yelling for help and called 911. Webster is booked in the Lowndes County Jail.
