TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

The Tift Co. Sheriff's Office reports that investigators are looking for three men who kidnapped a man and cut him.

The victim told deputies that he was walking on Fletcher Road about 3:00AM Friday when he  was dragged into a dark colored car.

He said he was carried from Fletcher Road to a cotton field off Highway 41 South and was put out there, and his attackers left.

The victim was treated for a laceration to his forehead and cuts on his hands, and released from Tift Regional Hospital.

It turns out that the victim was wanted by Worth County Sheriff's Office for possession of marijuana, carrying a concealed weapon, and obstruction.

He was released to Worth County Sheriff's office after being interview by Tift County Sheriff's Office investigators.

Cade Fowler will have more on the story later today.
