VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -
The convenience store where Pierre Bradley was shot and killed was set on fire in the early morning hours today.
Valdosta Fire Chief J. D. Rice said that there were multiple sources of a deliberately set fire. The extent of the damage was not clear yet, but the building still stands.
Authorities are investigating what they say is a clear case of arson, and say they have some suspects in mind.
Meanwhile Valdosta Police continue to search for a killer who gunned down Bradley early Sunday morning. He was shot to death inside T&D Food Mart on Troup Street around 4:30 Sunday morning.
Church leaders and friends of 24-year-old Pierre Bradley came together Monday for a prayer vigil at the convenience store.
Valdosta Police say they are looking at persons of interest, but no arrests have been made yet.
