Driver injured when car overturns

LEE CO., GA (WALB) -

A woman was being treated at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital late Monday night after a one-car crash just outside Albany.

The woman was driving a Chevy Malibu west on Highway 82 in Lee County about 9:20 p.m. Near Turner's Furniture she swerved into the median, crossed the eastbound lanes, and flipped into a ditch.

Lee County deputies, fire and rescue, and state troopers all responded.

We don't know the woman's name or condition.
