Hundreds of south Georgia residents got the chance to see what life was like back in the early 1800's.
This weekend Chehaw hosted the 20th annual Frontier Festival. Visitors got a taste of what American life was like before the turn of the century. Organizers say it helps us appreciate what we have today.
"We have so many modern conveniences today, we take for granted how we got to where we are, a lot of people don't understand how it rough it was for our four fathers," says Ben Kirkland, Chehaw Park Natural Resources Manager.
More than a dozen traders were selling arts and crafts from that time period.
