BLAKELY, GA (WALB) -

If you like old peanut equipment and the early history of the peanut industry, plan to attend the Grand Opening of the Early County Museum Farm Center in Blakely, GA on Sunday, Jan. 13 from 3 until 5 PM.

The Museum is following a dream of Mr. Joe Cannon to have the history of farms in Early County housed under one roof. It took several years and the donating of the building by the Blakely Rotary Club.

For info, call Julianne Megahee Hudson, Museum staff secretary at 229-724-7222.
