Albany woman testifies about identity theft crimes

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany woman, already convicted of embezzling government money, testified Thursday against two men on trial now for stealing hundreds of tax refund checks worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Princess Eatmon told the court she stole people's identities to apply for as many as 100 student loans and 40 income tax refunds. Prosecutors showed jurors nearly a dozen forged Social Security Cards and Georgia Driver's Licenses as well as folders containing her records of thefts involving Dontreal Jenkins and Trevayne Jones. They are on trial for embezzlement.

Eatmon was convicted, and is facing 10 years in prison. Eatmon also testified she tried to hire a hit man to kill Jenkins.
