Chick-fil-a opens in Cordele

CORDELE, GA (WALB) -

Information from Chick-fil-a

Chick-fil-A of Cordele opened for business about dawn this morning, welcoming the First 100 guests who received free Chick-fil-A for a year.

After camping out for more than 24 hours, they were welcomed by cheering Chick-fil-A team members to receive their prizes.

The crowd, some of whom came from as far away as Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, spent the previous day playing games, doing Zumba, playing musical instruments, dancing and visiting as they passed the time.

The new restaurant at 1711 E. 16th Ave. in Cordele is open Monday - Saturday from 6:30 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Anyone who missed out on being part of the First 100 has additional chances to join us when new Chick-fil-A restaurants open in Leesburg and Vidalia this summer.
