CORDELE, GA (WALB) -
There's a lot of excitement brewing in Cordele over its newest restaurant
A lot of that excitement comes from the possibility of winning a year's worth of free Chick-Fil-a.
250 people were waiting in line at 6 o'clock Wednesday morning, in hopes of being one of the first 100 customers to get a year's supply of free Chick-Fil-a.
Since there were so many people, those 100 spots were raffled off. But now those folks have to camp out in the parking lot of the restaurant before they can claim 52 coupons.
"I was talking to one guy and he's been to 70, yeah 70. We have a lot of follower's people coming from all across the country," said Meribeth McNeil, Owner/Operator.
The restaurant also created 80 new jobs. Doors open to the public Tuesday at 6 a.m. It's located on East 16th Avenue.
