VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Most brides will tell you planning a wedding isn't easy. With south Georgia's largest bridal expo coming up this weekend, some say it's the best way to plan your wedding all in one day.

Abby Adams is getting married in six months.

"Already counting down the days, and there's still over 100 left," said Adams.

And this bride still needs to book everything for her wedding.

"I had no idea how much work it would be to put together a wedding. It seems really easy when you see TV shows about it, but when you're actually in the process of it, it's a lot more work than it looks like," said Adams.

With south Georgia's largest bridal expo kicking off this Saturday, many brides like Adams hope this event will be one stop shopping.

"To know that everything will be in one place is exciting. I can see a lot of caters and florists, even wedding dresses, and see all of that in one place," said Adams.

Steel's Jewelry is sponsoring the event. And with more than 60 vendors, you can find everything from your DJ to your honeymoon destination.

"We've been involved with it from the beginning and it's just really neat to see each year more and more people come out and support it, and more and more brides come out and support it," said Nicole Steel, Marketing Manager.

Steel says the expo is the most convenient way to plan a wedding.

"This will be an event where a bride can walk in and walk out with her entire wedding planned."

Adams says even though planning a wedding takes a lot of work, it's still all worth it.

"Planning takes a really long time and it's a long process but it's been exciting getting to see all of the different kinds of caters, florists, and wedding dresses, and picking out what best fits my style best."

The bridal expo is this Saturday from 10-3 p.m. at the Rainwater Conference Center. Tickets are $7 at the door.
