ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Georgia's ban on guns in churches will remain in place.
Monday, the US Supreme Court decided not to hear a challenge to the law.
Gun rights group GeorgiaCarry.org appealed to the high court in October after a federal appeals court ruled the ban is constitutional.
Lawyers for GeorgiaCarry.org say the ban infringes on second amendment rights and separation of church and state.
They plan to keep working to try to get a legislative change.
