DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) -

Police in Douglas hope surveillance video will help them catch two armed robbers.

One of them shot a woman in the back late Saturday night at the Dollar General in Douglas, though he told the victim he didn't mean to.

After a woman was wounded during that armed robbery, customers are concerned about their safety at the store.

Police hope you can help identify one of the gunman in this video from the store's security cameras.

Take a look at this surveillance video. You can see one of the robbers enter the store with a gun in his hand.

"It makes me nervous, and I am so sad that this happened here, because we always say what did we do before we got little dollar general," says Lois Mills, Dollar General Customer.

Saturday night at 11 PM Shanda Griffin pulled up outside the Dollar General to pick up her boyfriend who is the store's manager.

But when her boyfriend and his coworker walked outside, two men dressed in dark clothing with their faces covered forced them all to get on the ground and robbed them.

"Because of the prices, and they carry a lot of cash, there is a lot of discounted prices in there," says Yolanda McElhaney, Dollar General Customer.

Griffin wasn't cooperating and was pistol whipped and then shot in the back. Now customers are concerned about their safety at the Dollar General and other discount stores.

"Especially after what happened at the other dollar store, yes it makes me feel very uncomfortable," says McElhaney.

Police are working to identify and arrest this man and his accomplice.

"Well I sure hope they can find them, that is all I can say," says Mills.

Griffin says not only did the gunman apologize to her after shooting her, but he also gave her her money back and called 911 before fleeing the scene.

The robbers made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

If you know anything about the robbers, investigators want you to call the Douglas Police Department. You can remain anonymous.
