ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Three men are on trial in Albany Federal Court accused of embezzling more than $700,000 from the United States Treasury.

Dontreal Jenkins and Trevayne Jones of Albany and Jamal Williams of Atlanta are charged with stealing IRS Tax refund checks from the Post Office in Atlanta.

Video showed Jenkins counting what Investigators assumed to be money from the embezzlement scheme. He took a video with his cell phone and posted it on YouTube.

Investigators say Jenkins and Jones cashed 67 of the checks at a convenience store on North Slappey Boulevard.

The store owner got suspicious and alerted authorities.
