Robert Cross School locked down

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

School leaders have locked Robert Cross Middle School out of what sources say is "an abundance of caution" due to a suspicious person in the area.

WALB has learned that he is not in the school, but just the area. Dougherty County School police officers are on the scene.

WALB is enroute to the school, and will have more information soon.
