CUMMING, Ga. (AP) - Georgia wildlife officials are seeking public comment on the state's hunting rules.

The Department of Natural Resources will hold a meeting Tuesday at the Lanier Technical College Forsyth Conference Center in Cumming. The public is invited to comment.

It's 1 of 8 sessions being held across Georgia on hunting regulators for the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 hunting seasons.

Wildlife officials John Bowers call the meeting the first step in a 2-year process.

Proposed hunting rules will be publicly available in April, then considered by the Board of Natural Resources in May 2013.
