VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Investigators now tell us a man found dead today in a Valdosta motel died from natural causes.

Investigators say the man had been staying at the Jolly Inn Motel on St. Augustine Road for a year, and he may have been dead up to a week.

The motel management notified police today when the man hadn't paid his bill.

"No indication of foul play or any drug overdose. It appears that he was laying in his room possibly watching TV when he passed away," said Lt. Aaron Kirk, VPD.
