CORDELE, GA (WALB) -

Like so many law enforcement agencies around the state, Cordele Police are investigating cases where celebratory gunfire on New Year's Eve caused damage.

A woman, who did not want to be identified, showed us damage to her car after a bullet hit her windshield right above the steering wheel.

No one was hurt, but Cordele Police are dealing with a handful of cases of celebratory gunfire damage.

Albany Police investigated 21 reports of New Year's Eve gunfire.
