LEESBURG, GA (WALB) -

Dozens of kids got to ring in the new year Monday without having to stay up past their bedtime.

Kids of all ages came decked out for the first ever noon year's eve party at the Lee County library. There was something there for everyone- dancing, crafts, a balloon artist- and a bubble machine, which kids seemed to enjoy the most.

When the clock struck 12 Noon, tons of balloons were dropped in celebration of 2013.

Some kids even had their own version of new years resolutions. Tasia Sanders told us she has "One sister." But says she wants another sister.  "Yes, but my momma don't want one."

Since they had such great turnout, library employees say they hope to hold this again next year.
