ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Partying on New Year Eve is not just for young folks but also the young at heart.

Palmyra Nursing Home residents got a special New Years Eve party today.

The residents enjoyed a countdown, a sparkling cider toast, and music. Some even danced.

"We get to know each other better, and we get to associate with everyone, and we just have a lot of fun," says Doris Baker, Mrs. Palmyra Nursing Home

"They are good to us here, the food is good, and I appreciate everything they do for us," says Kara York, Mr. Palmyra Nursing Home.

They also enjoyed a New Years Eve lunch and refreshments.
