ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An employee with Johnny Carino's Italian restaurant confirmed this morning that the eatery has closed its doors.

The person, whose name was not given, said that the Dawson Road restaurant closed last night for good, but was not allowed to give details.

The restaurant lasted three months and 20 days after the new Olive Garden opened on September 10, just up the street.
