Research shows fitter kids do better on school tests, and fitness experts in Albany agree.
Physical fitness is associated with improvements in memory, concentration, and organization.
About two years ago, World Camp Crossfit Owner and Head Coach Kris Morrill added a kids class at his gym and he says he sees the difference.
"In the kids program we found that the kids make better grades when they're working out all the time and they're maintaining a good healthy status," said Kris Morrill, World Camp Crossfit Owner/Head Coach.
Morrill says it's important to get children living healthy lifestyles at a young age.
