ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Demolition of the Broad Avenue Bridge continued Friday night under flood lights in downtown Albany.
Crews have been working late into the night lately to make sure the project stays on schedule.
The bridge was shut down nearly 4 years ago because the footings were dangerously deteriorated.
Demolition began a little more than 6 weeks ago and should be finished in mid to late February to make room for a new bridge.
