MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -

By Les Gilbert

A Moultrie man came just inches away from death Christmas day when a robber's bullet grazed his head.

Florencio Aguilan was visiting a friend Tuesday morning at the Paradise Apartments. Police say two men approached him and robbed him at gunpoint.

He refused to give up his money. One of the suspects struck him in the head with a gun which fired during a struggle.

"The bullet grazed his head right here. Luckily the victim said he kind of ducked when he heard the shot and the gun pointed at him," Said Moultrie Police Cpl. Dave Underwood.

The two suspects took off running but police believe residents at the apartment complex know who's responsible.

If you have any information call Moultrie Police at 229-890-5500.
