BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) -

A south Georgia family is celebrating the life of a man who was murdered in October, while also asking for justice.

Dozens packed God's Temple of Holy Praise in Bainbridge to share stories and light a candle in celebration of Ervin Flanders, Jr's 28th birthday.

Police say Flanders was stabbed to death by 22-year old Dorian Goss in front of the Bainbridge Shrine Club on October 28th.

And Goss is still on the loose.

"We are just seeking justice and we really want closure on my son's death. So we are just asking anyone, if this can touch you by us celebrating his 28th birthday today then just call us. Help us. Support us."

Anyone who has any information about the murder is asked to call Detective Redell Walton at 400-8014.
