With the threat of severe weather Tuesday night, emergency responders are asking you to use caution before, during, and after the storms.
Make sure you, your kids, and your pets steer clear of standing water or downed power lines.
Heavy wind and rain can also uproot trees and send other debris flying.
"First off you know you want to stay indoors, as well as stay away from the windows. Keep alert to the radio systems and pay attention to exactly what they say and tell you to do. Just follow standard precautions," said Paramedic Scott Layfield.
