UPDATE: Worth Co. man murdered

WORTH CO., GA (WALB) -

UPDATE: WALB has learned the name of the Worth Co. man shot and killed by his wife Monday night on Pearson Road.

Worth County Coroner John Johnson says 57-year-old Carl Andrew Tweedy died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Tweedy's wife is charged with murdering her husband and is being held in jail.

WALB has learned a Worth County man was shot and killed by his wife Monday night on Pearson Road. 

The woman shot her husband three times in the back.

She is charged with murder and is being held in jail.
