ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

While many of you are getting into the Christmas spirit, many package stores around town are selling more spirits.

We were at AJ's Package store in Albany Monday afternoon where were saw more than a dozen people buying beverages to celebrate the holidays.

AJ's store owner told us there was a steady line of customers all day through his store and expects them to keep filing in, until they close.

He says when the holidays come around, customers go for the top shelf drinks.

"All the big brands. Ciroc, Crown, Cuervo, Patron, just the big name brands. We're seeing people stepping up during the holiday and buying the more expensive brands," said AJ's owner Billy Davis.

Davis expects there to be an even bigger rush come New Year's.
