Usually Christmas is focused around children but in some places it is all about the seniors.
Palmyra Nursing Home residents got a special Christmas party Monday.
A former nurse at the Palmyra nursing home and his singing partner spent the morning singing Christmas carols to all the seniors.
The residents enjoyed the concert, and spirits were lifted by the music.
"These people are like my grandmothers and my granddaddy's, and Debbie Ward starting helping me a couple of years ago and we just get such a blessing for coming out here and signing for these people, said Dwayne Bowden.
More Holiday fun comes next week when, Palmyra Nursing Home hosts a New Years Eve party on December 31st at 1:30 p.m.
