THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -
Several new eateries are experiencing early success in one south Georgia city.
Five new restaurants opened in Thomasville this month including a mega Olive Garden-Red Lobster Combination.
While the lines have been out the door for a few of these places, customers are not complaining.
"It's been very packed. Little Caesars has been very packed. And the Hibachi is good. It's a buffet so you can come in and you don't have to wait on your food or anything. And it is affordable," said Melvina Cason.
"It's convenient for us because we don't have to travel and it's cheaper on gas. So it's very worth it," said Jasmine Wiche.
