ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
An Albany church reached out to the community to feed the hungry, Wednesday night.
The folks at Walk By Faith Ministries provided a meal to more than 50 people at the church on West Gordon Avenue.
Ryan's Restaurant catered the dinner.
The pastor says he wanted to host the feast to let people in need know there is help available.
"We are here to help. We are here to lend a helping hand. We're here to do all we can and to see the parents and children being able to embrace that and not being looked upon. We want everybody to feel comfortable," said Pastor Yaz Johnson.
This is the second year the church has hosted the holiday dinner. Pastor Johnson plans to do it again next year.
