People in the Albany metro area give more of their money to charities than folks in any other area in Georgia.
The Chronicle of Philanthropy, one of the nation's leading publications on philanthropy, says our five-county metro area gave close to $70 million last year alone.
That's the most per capita in the state.
People whose income ranged from $50,000 - $99,000 a year gave the largest chunk of their incomes.
Non-profit organizations says they feel that support; especially during the holidays.
