ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Folks from the community sang along with the Albany Chorale's performance of Handel's Messiah at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Monday night.

Chorale members say it's a great way to get people in the Christmas spirit.

"The joy of Christmas is in song, I happen to think, and to sing the songs from the Messiah is a wonderful way to kick off the holiday," said Marcia Hood with the Albany Chorale.

This is the second year the Chorale has hosted the holiday sing along.
