TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

In Tifton Sunday night, folks got the chance to experience a Victorian-style Christmas.

The Museum of Agriculture hosted their Victorian Village by Candlelight. Folks boarded the Vulcan steam train and made stops at different houses throughout the village. Living historians portrayed what it would of been like for people living in that time period during the holidays.

"To see how our families may have celebrated their Christmas in person. It's one thing to read about it in a book or see a picture our a family but to actually see it acted out with real life people is a completely different thing," says living historian Theresa Ryan.

Father Christmas and Old Befana greeted people at the beginning of the trail with an old folk tale and keepsake.
