ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

If you've driven around Albany in the past couple of days, there's a good chance you've seen the lit up house on the corner of Whispering Pines Road and Murray Hill Lane. But it's not just the lights that has folks stopping by to take pictures.

"He's real," says 4-year old Destiny Lee.

Santa and his wife, Mrs. Claus set up shop right outside their home every night for some of the youngest believers to sit on Santa's lap.

"I enjoy being Santa. It is one of my dreams to be Santa," says Samuel Foster who plays Santa.

The Fosters bought their home in west Albany in 1961 but it wasn't until five years ago that they started portraying the big guy and his faithful companion.

"When we see that we've made so many people happy and doing something that I don't believe people have done in Albany," says Betty Foster who plays Mrs. Claus.

"This is the real Santa because he has a life," says Lee.

Lee meant to say wife and while she believes this Santa is the real deal, some aren't as easily convinced.

"We do have questions asked about the deer. Where are our deer," says Betty Foster.

But Santa has an answer for that. "They're in the woods feeding and getting ready to make that long trip," says Samuel.

So whether you're the youngest believer, or you've been around the block a couple times, old Kris Kringle and Mrs. Claus will be waiting for you and your Christmas list this holiday season.

The pair will be outside their home every night until Saturday from 6 to 9 PM.
