ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

One Albany couple is celebrating their love Saturday after 65 years of marriage.

Troy and Thelma Glover tied the not in 1947 and ever since their love has kept them together.

This afternoon friends and family joined to celebrate that love at Calvary Baptist.

The couple says the secret to their success can be summed up in a few words.

Thelma says, "We'll we just let the lord help us. We forgave each other but we loved each other and that is the way we have managed to stay together for 65 years."

Family and friends say the couple is one of a kind and a perfect example of true love.
