ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Albany Fire Department is always out on the scene but now you can get a glimpse of them up close and personal.

Thirteen of Albany's firefighters suited up and took pictures for their 2013 Albany Firefighter Calendar.

The department sold the calendars at the Wal-mart off Cordele Road Saturday afternoon to raise money for the Salvation Army's Place of Hope. This is third year firefighters have put on a good face for a great cause.

Donald Jackson with the Fire Department says, "It's exciting to see people come out and buy their calendars and we sign it for them and it's active way to get involved with the community."

The department says they'll be selling the calendars at both their downtown and Westgate fire stations for $10.00.
