ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A world renowned music group performed for high school music students in Albany this morning.

The Boston Brass Quintet is in town for the Albany Symphony Orchestra's Peppermint Pops performances tomorrow.

They performed at Westover High School Friday. Teachers say this educational outreach gives students something to aspire to.

"It is a rare thing to have such a fine accomplished group as the Boston Brass coming to Albany," says Lark Ledbetter, Albany Symphony Orchestra Exec. Director.

The 21st Peppermint Pops will be held Saturday at the Albany Municipal Auditorium. The Boston Brass will join the Albany Chorale and the Albany Symphony tomorrow for performances at 2:30 and 7:30.
