ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Residents of Palmyra Nursing Home enjoyed some live Christmas music Friday morning.

Fourth and Fifth graders from West Town Elementary School sang for residents at Palmyra Nursing Home.

West Towns Choral Director, Anthony Clements, started this tradition ten years ago.

The residents enjoyed the concert, and spirits were lifted by the music, and the interaction with young people.

"It means a lot, because at times they think that is their grandchildren, and the children act like they are their grandparents, so they interact so well with them, the residents really look forward to it" says Sandra Tillery, Palmyra Nursing Home Activity Director.

Palmyra Nursing Home will hold their Christmas Parade on Saturday December 22nd at 1 PM.
