THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville is named the best hospital in this part of the state.

For the third straight year, Georgia Trend Magazine named Archbold a Top Georgia Hospital and the best in southwest Georgia.

Overall, Archbold ranked 6th out of hospitals in Georgia with 151 to 399 patient beds.

"They're looking at outcomes. So they are looking at quality scores, patient satisfaction, readmission rates, mortality rates, infection rates. So all of those go in the mix when they're trying to evaluate excellence in the state when it comes to hospital care," said CEO Perry Mustian.

The data was acquired from the Centers for Medicine and Medicaid.
