ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

South Georgia missionaries returned home, Wednesday night, from a 3 week trip to Africa.

The leaders from several local churches visited Ghana where they attended conferences, conducted revivals and delivered supplies to schools.

Two of the missionaries told us the trip opened their eyes and they want us to be grateful to live in the United States.

"We really need to learn to appreciate what we have because God has really been good to us compared to what we saw over there," said Dr. Henry Brown.

"I will never complain about anything over here in America. The people there live in primitive places. They don't have running water or toilets," said Buford Snipes

The mission team left on November 19th. They hope to do more mission work in the future.
