ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
12/12/12 is also proving popular for couples looking to tie the knot.
Wednesday, Kendra and Barry Robinson got married at the Dougherty County Courthouse. The two have been dating for four years and decided last week it was time to get married.
Kendra says she left it up to Barry to pick the date. "He said 12/12/12 and he was like joking, kidding around. And I said no, that's a great date! Because when is the next date like that going to happen you know? And I was like, well it is on a Wednesday, but it's for us. It's not for other people."
Both say it will be easy to remember their anniversary. They plan to go to Las Vegas next month for their honeymoon.
Numerologist and author Vikki MacKinnon says the date represents two energies merging, making it a beautiful day for weddings. She says that's good news for couples saying their "I do's" Wednesday.
