THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

33-year-old Tony Lee Davis was charged with stealing the English bulldog "Bubba" last year in Thomas County.

Davis admitted to killing the dog, and he pled guilty to simple battery, two counts of theft by taking- the dog and a laptop- removing identification from an animal, cruelty to animals, and obstruction.

He has a sentencing date set for January 28th at 9:30AM.

Bubba's owners offered a $10,000 reward for Bubba's safe return.
