ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Students at a Dougherty County school will see improvements thanks to an Albany car dealership.

At tonight's school board meeting, Sunbelt Fordtown of Albany donated $2900 to Martin Luther King Elementary School.

School officials say they're grateful for the money which will help improve instructional services at the school.

"This is going to go a long way. $2900 is not quite going to take care of all of it, but I think with the PTO, fundraisers, looking at a carnival and some other things where we can get that money," said MLK Interim Principal David Adams.

The money was raised through test drives at the dealership.
