ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Drivers paid all-time highs for gasoline this year, but we're about to get a break for the holiday season.
The national average for a gallon of gas is about $3.37 right now, but it's expected to drop to about $3.20 a gallon in the coming weeks.
Some states could see prices at $3 a gallon or even less soon.
"It is less out of your pocket, and more for another bill, more money for gifts this year," says Dolly Pressley, Motorist.
According to Triple-A, the average price for gas in Georgia is $3.24 right now and $3.25 in Albany.
