The folks at Chehaw held a special event for children with special needs.
The park and the boy scouts hosted a Nature Round-Up for special needs children.
Kids got to interact with animals, do arts and crafts and have their face painted.
It was an opportunity for special needs children to enjoy nature, outdoors, and live interactions with animals.
"When I started out, I was a very fearful parent, to let him go outside and do things, and I don't want someone who has a child like that to have that same fear that I did," Amy Bacon, Organizer.
Bacon's 15-year-old son, Joshua, is the one who inspired her to start Nature Round Up Day.
