ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
One Albany church says they are dedicated to feeding families in Southwest Georgia this holiday season.
First Apostolic Church off Lumpkin Road will be collecting food until late Friday night getting ready for their huge food giveaway Saturday morning.
The church will give each family or household a full box of food for free.
They say it's thanks to many non-profit groups and churches all over the state who have donated food and money for families this holiday season.
"We have a large mission. We've been doing this for about 15 years now and it's something that we in this church look forward to," said Betty Jackson, First Apostolic Church Pastor.
The food will be available to pick up Saturday morning starting at 8 o'clock. They say they will hand out boxes of food until it's all gone.
